We’re supporting a growing subscription-led insights business in the automotive sector in their search for a Business Development Manager.
This is a modern, consultative sales role focused on building relationships, understanding customer challenges and converting opportunities into long-term subscriptions.
The role suits someone who enjoys full ownership of the sales process in a fast-moving, tech-led environment.
The role:
• Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
• Run discovery calls and product demonstrations via Microsoft Teams
• Understand client needs and position solutions in a consultative way
• Convert qualified opportunities into new subscription customers
• Work closely with marketing and leadership to improve messaging and approach
• Contribute to commercial strategy and growth activity
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in a full-cycle B2B sales or business development role
• Strong ability to run discovery conversations and close deals
• Confident communicating and building relationships remotely
• Consultative, solution-led approach rather than transactional selling
• Self-motivated, accountable and commercially driven
• Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
• Experience in SaaS, subscription, data or insight-led businesses
• Interest in automotive or the wider automotive industry
• Exposure to startup or scale-up environments
