About the Role

Our client has enjoyed significant growth over the last three years across all areas of their FS and leadership teams.  Our client is one of the UK's leading, purely fee based, Independent Financial Advisers (IFA).  Because they are independent, they are not reliant on commission payments from providers which means their advice is truly unbiased and tailored to clients. As a result, clients only pay for the advice, as they require it. This unbiased approach to financial planning, based solely on a client's circumstances and lifestyle objectives, sets our client apart from other financial planning firms.


The purpose of the Operations Business Analyst is to support the design and delivery of the transformation roadmap, and ongoing continuous improvement of the operations within the Private Client service line.



 Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and management of project plans and other project artefacts, such as action logs, progress reports and project meeting agendas
  • Participate and support the facilitation of project meetings
  • Inform and support the creation of written communications to stakeholders in the business
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements to ensure technology and process solutions meet business needs
  • Support the development of new and existing best practice processes
  • Support the creation of procedures and supporting documentation
  • Analyse processes to understand how any changes will impact the business
  • Support the development of training material and training delivery to the business
  • Support the delivery of data analysis and technology change
  • Working with the relevant managers to ensure alignment between data, process, and technology
  • Support the testing function in the form of pilots and model office
  • Support change management and change adoption within the business


Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Ideally some experience within Financial Services
  • A positive outlook and enthusiastic to take on the next challenge
  • Self-starter with a ‘Can do' attitude and a drive to deliver
  • A creative thinker who is fascinated by new ideas
  • Good communication skills and able to build good relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technology and processes
  • Good with MS applications such as Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
  • Organised and good time management skills
  • Able to analyse information and solve problems
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, agile environment
