Our client – a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy – is seeking an experienced RTPI or IEMA-qualified Planner to join their Planning Team based in Cardiff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in infrastructure planning and EIA coordination to play a key role in supporting major renewable energy projects across Wales and the wider UK.

You will work as part of a growing and supportive team, contributing to the delivery of large-scale consenting strategies for wind, solar, and other renewable infrastructure. You'll be involved from early-stage feasibility through to examination and consent, working alongside environmental and technical experts.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be MRTPI or IEMA qualified (or working towards)
• Have proven experience in the UK planning system – preferably infrastructure / energy
• Have demonstrated experience in coordinating or contributing to EIAs
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a passion for low-carbon and sustainable development
