Job Running Architectural Technician

Aztrum is delighted to announce a new partnership with a well-established and growing architectural practice based in Leicestershire. My client is looking to appoint a Job Running Architectural Technician to take ownership of projects through the technical and delivery stages, playing a key role in the successful execution of live schemes.

Key Responsibilities for this Job Running Architectural Technician role:

• Run projects from post-planning through to completion
• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages in Revit
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations
• Develop construction details and technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, planning conditions, and industry standards
• Attend site meetings and support projects throughout the construction phase
• Assist in mentoring and supporting junior team members where required

Requirements for this Job Running Architectural Technician role:

• Proven experience delivering projects independently across RIBA Stages 3–6
• Strong proficiency in Revit is essential
• Retail or Commercial sector experience is desirable
• Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and building standards
• Ability to coordinate information and communicate effectively with project teams
