Fleet Safety Coordinator

You’ll have previously managed the program for fleet vehicle safety, if that’s you, you could gain employment with a leader in their market. They’re a client we’ve represented multiple times, giving us first-hand evidence that they care about their employees and they’re happy working there. Providing them with the educational support to be more effective in their roles and enhance their career. Providing them with everything they need to ensure they can be effective in their role, such as a company vehicle that can be used for personal use, is included for this role. Down to the most effective PPE for the job and the understanding that humans sometimes need a little flexibility with their working day, as things happen. These being just some of the reasons that everyone we have placed with them, still works there today.
To secure this role, more specifically you will need the experience and qualifications noted below.
Experience with:
- system management, such as Motive, Samsara, ISAAC or PeopleNet fleet manage platforms (Overseeing installation, maintenance, configuration and internal user training & support),
- with safety program development/management for commercial & light duty vehicles, meeting Alberta and Federal regulations for vehicle maintenance, education, permitting etc.
- incident investigation, as well as the associated WCB claims management and experience managing insurance coverage/renewals with providers/brokers,
- facilitating the Transportation of Dangerous Goods and ensure people in the organization are working to TDG regulations,
- with IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) management,
Qualifications including:
- At least 5 years’ experience with commercial vehicle programs in Canada,
- Formal training in Occupational Health and Safety such as an OH&S Certificate or Diploma, AMTA Program Building Certificate for example,
- A CRSP would be considered an asset BUT NOT essential for this role,
- Ability to travel 25% of the time,
- The usual competencies for Microsoft/computer skills,
