This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become the founding Registered Service Manager of a brand-new, beautifully furnished Supported Accommodation service for young people aged 16–18 in Nuneaton.
Rather than stepping into an established setting, you'll be building one from the ground up — shaping the culture, assembling your own team, and defining what outstanding support looks like from day one.
Backed by a genuinely hands-on and experienced Responsible Individual, you'll have full support through registration and beyond, freeing you to focus on what matters most: giving young people the foundations, confidence and skills they need for independent adult life.

Preparing the service for formal registration and future Ofsted inspection, working closely with the Responsible Individual throughout
Building a positive, child-centred, trauma-informed culture from the very start
Recruiting, inducting, supervising, and developing a high-performing staff team
Embedding safeguarding as the golden thread running through every part of the service
Leading on audits, quality assurance,e and continuous improvement planning
Monitoring and responding to incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, and tracking outcomes for young people
Developing person-centred support plans focused on independence, education and employment readiness, life skills, emotional wellbeing, and successful transitions into adulthood
Working collaboratively with local authorities, external agencies and families to ensure joined-up, effective support for every young person
Proven management experience within Children's Residential Care or Supported Accommodation for young people
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or a genuine willingness to work towards it
Strong working knowledge of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023, safeguarding practice, and Ofsted expectations
Confident, values-led leadership with the ability to build and inspire a team from scratch
A genuine passion for empowering young people as they move towards independence
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with resilience to match the demands of a start-up service
This is more than a management position — it's the chance to leave your own mark on a service, with real autonomy over how it's shaped and run.
You'll be trusted, supported,ed and empowered to bring your ideas to life, all while making a genuinely lasting difference to young people's futures in Nuneaton and the wider Coventry area.
