Are you ready to take your academic expertise beyond research? Would you like to lead Environmental Projects and mentor your own team?

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to progress to Associate and manage the EIA team, complete and review complex environmental projects and develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients across the UK.  

You will play a central role in delivering and leading environmental impact assessments (EIA), with a particular focus on hydrology, water resources, and hydrogeology.  Projects span a wide variety of sectors including natural flood management, infrastructure, transport and renewable energy developments (onshore wind and solar).  

This role will offer you the chance to manage and mentor staff, manage and deliver projects to time and budget and complete innovative, research led projects.  

You will also complete;

-Lead and deliver water and peat-related EIA projects.

-Developing new business opportunities and client relationships with new and existing clients.  

-Mentoring and supporting a growing team.

-Manage environmental water and peat management assessments.

-Hydrology, water resources and peat management EIA chapters for a diverse range of renewable energy, infrastructure and transport projects.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in environmental management, hydrology or hydrogeology and ideally are close to Chartered status.  

Candidates are also required to have UK based experience working for a Consultancy or University completing and managing hydrological, water resources and peat management EIA chapters.

You will be required to have experience coordinating and managing EIA projects, mentoring staff and liaising with Clients.
