We’re currently supporting a legal client with the appointment of a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration experience looking to build a long term career within a professional legal environment. Previous exposure to legal compliance processes would be advantageous, although not essential.
The successful candidate will play a key role supporting the day to day running of the office, assisting fee earners and helping ensure administrative and compliance processes are completed efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting client onboarding processes and assisting with compliance checks
• Providing administrative support to fee earners and wider teams
• Managing correspondence, maintaining databases and preparing reports
• Coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
• Supporting recruitment administration and employee onboarding
• Processing invoices, monitoring expenses and assisting with budget administration
• Responding to enquiries and providing a professional service to visitors and clients
• Assisting with company events, meetings and internal activities
• Supporting office facilities and maintaining supplies and equipment
• Assisting with health and safety administration and procedures
• Managing file archiving and destruction processes
What we’re looking for:
• Previous administration experience within a professional environment
• Legal sector exposure would be beneficial
• Knowledge or understanding of compliance processes preferred
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive approach with a willingness to support across different functions
