Summary:
Our client is a specialist SME funder offering a fresh, service-led approach to business finance. With a focus on trust, transparency, and long-term partnerships, they provide flexible funding solutions that support growth – including invoice finance, asset finance, and trade finance.
They’re now looking to appoint a Relationship Manager to support their continued growth. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team that values commercial insight, client-first thinking, and a genuine desire to help SMEs thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and nurture a portfolio of invoice finance and commercial lending clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
Oversee all aspects of client accounts, from onboarding through to ongoing facility management.
Liaise with internal teams across operations, underwriting, and risk to ensure efficient and compliant processes.
Conduct regular client reviews and monitor facility performance to identify opportunities for growth or potential risk.
Assess and prepare financial information and credit applications in collaboration with the underwriting team.
Support the underwriting process by providing operational insights and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Act as the key point of contact for clients, responding promptly to queries and resolving any issues.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within operations and client management functions.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in relationship management, operations, or underwriting role within invoice finance, asset-based lending, or commercial finance.
Strong understanding of invoice finance operations, facility structures, and credit processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using finance or CRM systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
