We are currently working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering consultancy based in Swansea, who are looking to appoint a CAD Technician to support their growing workload across a range of infrastructure and development projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong CAD skills to join a professional and collaborative team, working on varied projects within a respected consultancy environment.
Produce accurate civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (and other relevant software)
Assist engineers with the preparation of design and construction information
Prepare layouts, sections, and detailed drawings for a range of civil engineering schemes
Update and amend drawings in line with design changes and client comments
Ensure drawings are produced in accordance with company standards and project requirements
Support projects through various stages, from concept to construction
Previous experience working as a CAD Technician within a civil engineering or consultancy environment
Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Civil 3D beneficial but not essential)
Good understanding of civil engineering drawings and construction standards
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
