My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy who specialise in flood risk and environmental projects, is searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their team in Brighton.   

Candidates are required to have an academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering and have vast experience specialising in flood risk management, environmental audits, environmental assessments for residential and commercial development projects.  

Management experience is also required in order to manage and mentor team members and manage complex environmental projects.  

As a Senior Consultant, you will be required to manage projects, liaise with clients to discuss project development and mentor and support the team to complete technical work. 

You will be required to review, amend, check and complete the following; 

-Flood risk assessments.

-Desktop reports.

-Regulatory consultation.

-Completion of environmental assessment and environmental audits.

-Review phase II investigations.

-Fee proposals and tenders.

-Project management

-Mentor team members

-Liaise with Local Authorities, Insurance Companies and Government Bodies to obtain Environmental Permits and Drainage Consents.  

-Client meetings to discuss the project progress and to develop new business opportunities with both new and existing Clients.
