- Acoustic consultancy for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
- Noise monitoring for urban development, infrastructure, and transportation schemes
- Environmental impact assessments with a focus on sound and vibration
- Custom system design and integration for long-term environmental monitoring
- Collaboration with government bodies, developers, and private sector clients to meet regulatory and planning requirements
The Role
As an Acoustic Consultant, you’ll join a collaborative team to support clients in achieving regulatory compliance and delivering sustainable development. This is a varied role that combines site work, analysis, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting environmental and building acoustics surveys
- Performing on-site noise and vibration assessments
- Preparing technical reports and acoustic impact assessments
- Advising on mitigation strategies and noise control solutions
- Acoustic modelling using industry-standard software such as CadnaA and ODEON
- Working closely with engineers, planners, and local authorities
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and technically capable professional with:
- A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in acoustic consultancy or a similar role
- Familiarity with acoustic modelling tools such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or ODEON
- Strong understanding of UK environmental noise regulations and standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A valid UK driving licence (essential for site travel)
