We are working with an established multidisciplinary architectural practice who are looking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join their growing team in Weybridge.

The practice works across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, including new-build developments, extensions, refurbishments and listed and heritage buildings.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician looking to join a collaborative team and become involved across a project’s lifecycle, from initial design and planning through to technical development and construction.

The Role of an Architectural Technician:

• Producing detailed architectural drawings and technical information using CAD and 3D modelling software.
• Developing design proposals from initial concept through to planning and Building Regulations stages.
• Preparing detailed construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Working on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
• Assisting with planning applications and Building Regulations submissions.
• Developing technical solutions and construction details in collaboration with the wider project team.
• Liaising with architects, engineers, planners, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Supporting projects involving new-build developments, extensions, refurbishments and listed or heritage buildings.

Essential Qualifications needed:

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working within an architectural practice.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
• Experience producing planning and/or Building Regulations drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or relevant architectural design software.
• Experience with Revit or 3D modelling software would be advantageous.
