Gas Distribution Trainer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging training sessions and assessments across the gas distribution product area
• Collaborating with the Operational team to maintain and develop training materials, facilities, and products
• Working closely with the Quality Assurance and Audit team supporting internal quality assurance (IQA)
• Supporting sales and marketing colleagues by responding to customer enquiries and providing technical insight

Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in low and medium‑pressure gas mains and service laying, or experience in pressure control and network maintenance
• NCO2 Gas Main/Service Laying
• Safe Control of Operations certification
• Competence in PE (Polyethylene) welding techniques

Desirable

• CITB Excavation Support for Timber Trenches & Shafts OR Utility Excavation Categories 1–5 (or equivalent)
• Experience installing, maintaining, and inspecting trench support and shaft systems during live digs
• Experience working in deep excavations (2m+)
• NRSWA Supervisor qualification
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent)
• Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA or equivalent)
