We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected Managed Service Provider that delivers tailored IT solutions to businesses across the UK. With expertise spanning managed IT support, cyber security, cloud services, and infrastructure, they’ve built a strong reputation for outstanding customer service and long-term client partnerships.

Due to continued expansion, they’re looking for an Account Manager to join their Manchester team and manage an established client base — so there’s no requirement to bring your own accounts or contacts. Instead, you’ll focus on developing existing relationships, driving account growth, and enjoying the opportunity to work with warm, engaged clients while helping generate new business opportunities along the way.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Account Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll take ownership of existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery while uncovering opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, and managed IT solutions.

Working closely with internal technical teams, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients and help deliver tailored technology solutions that provide genuine business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships across an existing portfolio of client accounts
  • Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IT solutions
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering a high-quality customer experience
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned to customer needs
  • Support business growth through proactive account development and new business generation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Account Management within MSP, IT services, or technology environments
  • Good understanding of managed IT services, cloud, and cyber security solutions
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts strategically
  • Motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude
