A well-established civil engineering SME, in operation since the early 1990s, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its design team based in Cardiff or Bristol.

This opportunity would suit a Civil Engineer with strong drainage expertise, keen to work in a design-focused role and join a team recognised for both technical ability and lasting client partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering detailed civil engineering designs, with particular emphasis on drainage
• Developing drainage strategies, SuDS solutions, and supporting calculations to current standards
• Producing and checking designs using AutoCAD and Civils 3D
• Working closely with clients, contractors, and fellow team members across all stages of project delivery
• Assisting projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction
• Compiling technical reports, drawings, and supporting documentation
• Ensuring all designs align with relevant codes, standards, and client expectations
• Helping maintain the high levels of quality and service the business is recognised for
