The Role- Security Solutions Architect

Our client is looking to expand their Solutions Engineering team with the addition of a Security Solutions Architect. Reporting to the Head of Solutions Engineering, this role will support the continued growth of the business by providing expert technical guidance across a broad cybersecurity portfolio.

This is a client-facing pre-sales and consultancy role, where you will work closely with both customers and internal sales teams to understand security challenges, design appropriate solutions, and articulate the value of modern cybersecurity technologies.

You will play an important role in technical account planning, customer discovery sessions, and solution design, helping organisations improve their security posture while ensuring solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities- Security Solutions Architect

  • Deliver technical pre-sales consultancy to both new and existing clients
  • Build strong technical relationships with prospects and customers, acting as a trusted adviser
  • Support the sales team during meetings, discovery sessions, and opportunity qualification
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops
  • Design and run Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate proposed solutions
  • Evaluate competing technologies and recommend the most suitable solutions for customer requirements
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality technical proposals, scopes of work, and tender responses
  • Support internal and external technical events, webinars, and customer engagements

Skills & Experience- Security Solutions Architect

  • Experience in technical consultancy, pre-sales, or customer-facing technical delivery within an MSP, systems integrator, or IT reseller environment
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies
  • Experience producing technical proposals and tender documentation
  • Certifications or experience with technologies such as Sophos, Microsoft, N-Able, Mimecast, Barracuda, Fortinet, or similar security platforms
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link technical solutions to business outcomes
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong relationship-building skills when working with both technical and sales teams
  • UK-based with willingness to travel when required
  • Full UK driving licence
