Civil Engineer (Drainage & Flood Risk) 

£35k–£45k

A growing engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer with 3+ years’ experience, specialising in flood risk and drainage design.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong technical foundations who enjoys working collaboratively across a variety of infrastructure and development projects, with support available towards professional chartership.

The role:
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
• Design surface water and foul drainage systems
• Develop sustainable drainage (SuDS) solutions
• Contribute to wider flood alleviation and resilience schemes
• Work closely with planners, architects, and multidisciplinary teams

The ideal candidate:
• Experience in a similar consultancy-based role
• Strong understanding of SuDS, attenuation, and infiltration design
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, or similar software
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Motivated to progress professionally (chartership supported)
