Our well-established client is now looking for a Commercial/Corporate Solicitor  (min 8 years PQE) to join their team in the North West, based in either Rochdale or Bury. The ideal candidate will be able to supervise and train junior members of the team, assist with the running of the department, and have a strong desire for career progression up to Partnership level.

You will undertake a range of transactional work across business/company sales mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, pension fund work, and much more.  

Your role would include

• Lead and motivate a team of fee earners, paralegals and assistants.
• Provide guidance on regulatory, client care and legal issues
• Monitor and managing performance of the team
• Further developing the culture of delivering exceptional customer service to clients
• Monitor and review workflow and caseloads, ensuring they are handled in a timely manner
• Supporting the team with technical legal queries
• Helping grow the business

Here’s what we need:

• Qualified Solicitor 8+ years PQE with previous experience in a quality practice
• A strong desire to further develop the department
• Preferably with a client following
• Experience working with lenders investors and pension schemes
• Experience working with SME business clients and large corporations
• Previous experience managing corporate/commercial matters including Share Deals and Partnerships
• Highly meticulous commercially focused and outcome orientated
• Track record in business development and outstanding client care

Salary £60,000-70,000 depending on experience
