My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy who specialise in flood risk, drainage and infrastructure, are searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their supportive team in Nottingham.  

You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.   

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in infrastructure, civil and  flood risk engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK.  With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, flood defence, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors.  

As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including; 

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3. 

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS. 

-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.

-Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using infodrainage and causeway flow.   

-Access road design for developments. 

-Earthworks modelling. 

-Flood defence schemes.   

-Client meetings to discuss project progress.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a keen interest in flood risk and drainage engineering.    

It is essential for applicants to reside locally as you will be required to work from the office 3 days a week.
