Acoustic Consultant (3–5 Years’ Experience)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Aztrum is pleased to be working with a well-established, independent Acoustic Consultancy that is looking to appoint an Acoustic Consultant with around 3–5 years’ experience to join their growing Manchester team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied technical workload, autonomy in their role, and the chance to work on a broad range of UK projects across both the private and public sectors.

The Role

You’ll be involved in the delivery of acoustic projects from inception through to completion, with responsibilities including:

• Environmental noise and vibration assessments
• Planning-led acoustic reports
• Sound insulation testing and noise surveys
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and design teams
• Supporting junior staff and contributing to project delivery

The role offers genuine scope to develop technically and professionally within a supportive consultancy environment.

What They’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience working in an acoustic consultancy
• Experience with environmental and building acoustics
• Familiarity with UK standards and guidance
• IOA membership (or working towards it) preferred
