Account Manager – Education Sector (IT Sales) 
Location: Remote, UK Wide
Salary: Up to £55k base + commission

The Opportunity

I’m working exclusively with a high-growth IT solutions provider that partners with organisations across the UK to deliver tailored technology solutions, including cloud services, connectivity, cybersecurity, software licensing and modern workplace solutions.

They are now looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to specialise exclusively in the education sector, selling IT solutions into schools, colleges, universities and multi-academy trusts.

This is a remote role, offering genuine flexibility and autonomy, with strong backing from technical and commercial teams.

The Role

As an Education Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing relationships across the education landscape, owning the full sales cycle and driving new revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing accounts within the education sector
  • Developing new business opportunities with schools, colleges, MATs and HE institutions
  • Leveraging existing education contacts and relationships
  • Running consultative sales conversations around IT solutions
  • Managing pipeline activity from initial engagement through to close
  • Working closely with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes

What They’re Looking For

- Proven IT sales experience within the education sector selling cyber security, cloud, hardware etc.
 - Strong understanding of education buying cycles and stakeholders
 - Existing education sector contacts you can actively engage
 - Consultative, relationship-led sales approach
 - Self-starter who thrives in a remote, performance-driven environment
 - Excellent communication and account management skills
