We are working on behalf of a well-established architecture and civil/structural engineering consultancy based in Port Talbot to recruit a Chartered Civil Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway to Associate level for the right individual.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of civil engineering projects across sectors, contributing both technically and strategically. The position offers a blend of hands-on design work, project leadership, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Prepare and review detailed designs, calculations, and technical reports
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
• Collaborate closely with in-house structural engineers and architects

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
• Strong experience in civil engineering design (drainage & infrastructure)
• Proven ability to manage projects and liaise with clients
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ambition to progress into a senior leadership/Associate role
