Ballywater Logistics Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with a strong background in warehousing and logistics who thrives in a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational standards.
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy through regular audits and inventory management.
• Coordinate with other departments, including transport and customer service, to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Enforce health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and oversee regular inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Implement and improve warehouse processes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance performance and maintain a motivated workforce.
• Prepare reports on warehouse activities, performance metrics, and any operational challenges.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software and strong experience in a Excel and Microsoft Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
• A proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, if required but normally Monday to Friday Hours.
