Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities across the Midlands.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities with SMEs and mid-market organisations. You'll introduce a broad portfolio of managed IT, cloud and cyber security solutions, working closely with technical specialists to deliver tailored proposals that solve real business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers including Managing Directors, IT Managers and Business Owners.
• Identify customer challenges and present tailored managed IT, cloud and cyber security solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to negotiation and close.
• Work collaboratively with technical and pre-sales teams to produce winning proposals.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
• Represent the business at networking events and customer meetings.

About You

• Previous experience in a Business Development Manager, New Business Sales or IT Sales role.
• Experience selling Managed IT Services, Cloud, Microsoft Solutions, Cyber Security or other B2B technology solutions.
• Strong new business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Full UK driving licence.
