Permanent | Full-time

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for acoustics, noise, or vibration? Ready to join a consultancy where your ideas count and your development is taken seriously? We’re working with an industry-leading environmental consultancy with exciting plans to expand their Acoustics division — and they’re on the lookout for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their London office.

About This Company

This firm is recognised nationally for its technical excellence and innovative approach across the environmental sector. With decades of experience and an impressive portfolio of high-impact projects, they’ve built a reputation for delivering sustainable, science-led solutions to complex challenges.

Their Acoustics team is growing fast, with a strong pipeline of transport, energy, infrastructure, and built environment projects. It’s an ideal home for a graduate who’s keen to get involved in meaningful work from day one and grow with a forward-thinking, supportive consultancy.

The Role

As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you’ll work alongside senior specialists to deliver technical input across a wide range of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting noise and vibration assessments across diverse sectors

  • Carrying out fieldwork, including noise surveys and environmental monitoring

  • Analysing acoustic data using industry software and standards

  • Contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and planning reports

  • Collaborating with internal teams, local authorities, and external clients

  • Staying current with industry regulations and best practice

This is a hands-on role that offers early exposure to nationally significant infrastructure schemes as well as smaller community-based developments.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical curiosity and strong communication skills. You’ll likely have:

  • A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (ideally with an acoustics module)

  • A keen interest in environmental acoustics and consultancy work

  • A full UK driving licence, as occasional travel is involved

What’s in it for You

  • A competitive salary and tailored benefits package

  • Hybrid and flexible working options

  • Full training and mentoring from industry experts

  • Support towards Institute of Acoustics (IoA) membership and Chartership

  • A welcoming, knowledge-sharing team culture

  • A clear development path with real promotion opportunities

This is a rare chance to launch your consultancy career with a well-respected, values-led organisation where graduates thrive.
