The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of development schemes. The position is based in Guildford and offers a hybrid working arrangement, balancing remote flexibility with office-based collaboration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical design work, contributing to project planning, and ensuring engineering solutions meet client, regulatory and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the design and delivery of development-focused infrastructure projects
• Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
• Producing and reviewing designs using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage and related software
• Managing projects to ensure deadlines, budgets and client expectations are achieved
• Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop effective engineering solutions
• Presenting technical information clearly to clients, planning authorities and other interested parties

Candidate Profile

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong technical capability combined with sound project management experience
• Demonstrable experience delivering Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
• Proficient in AutoCAD and drainage design software such as MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
