The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of development schemes. The position is based in Guildford and offers a hybrid working arrangement, balancing remote flexibility with office-based collaboration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical design work, contributing to project planning, and ensuring engineering solutions meet client, regulatory and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the design and delivery of development-focused infrastructure projects
- Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Producing and reviewing designs using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage and related software
- Managing projects to ensure deadlines, budgets and client expectations are achieved
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop effective engineering solutions
- Presenting technical information clearly to clients, planning authorities and other interested parties
Candidate Profile
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong technical capability combined with sound project management experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Proficient in AutoCAD and drainage design software such as MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
