A respected and well-established Central London planning consultancy is seeking a driven and talented Senior Planner to join its close-knit, high-performing team. The Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality planning consultancy services to a wide client base, including major developers, national retailers, landowners and housebuilders. Working closely with senior colleagues, they will help shape and deliver robust planning strategies on a wide range of schemes, often involving controversial or complex sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on and preparing planning applications and appeals
• Developing tailored strategies to secure planning permission for challenging schemes
• Leading consultant teams and instructing Counsel where appropriate
• Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to influence outcomes
• Preparing and presenting evidence at public inquiries, hearings, and examinations
• Supporting client development through excellent service and trusted advice

This role would suit a planning professional with 3+ years’ experience, ideally from a consultancy background, looking to take the next step in their career.
