Health and Safety Assistant

Hybrid working with visiting sites in Cambridge, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire

Up to £37,000 + Car/Car allowance, Pension, Health, Training

The Opportunity

We are currently in search of a Health and Safety Assistant to work alongside Health and Safety Managers in providing top-notch health and safety services to the clients.

The Company

Our client is a multinational Technical Facilities Management provider that offers health and safety assistance to various clients from different sectors. As a top technical services group, our clients offer a diverse range of specialised services under one umbrella.

How you will deliver

• Monitoring and reviewing performance in the area, 
• Conducting inspections and audits, 
• Providing advice on all aspects of health, safety, and welfare throughout the business,
• Coordinating the implementation of annual improvement plans, 
• Preparing and presenting reports, 
• Developing and delivering health and safety training for identified areas, 
• Identifying site objectives and delivering them in line with overall business planning. 
• Additionally, the management team should be advised on current and upcoming issues across the region.

Your skills and experience

• NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent as a minimum. 
• Experience in a transferable field i.e., construction, engineering, FM, consulting 
• Able to show that you are committed to developing your Health and Safety career.
