While there’s flexibility in the profile, ideally you’ll have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience within consultancy (ideally multi-disciplinary)
  • Experience delivering infrastructure designs for development projects
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and/or Causeway Flow
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic principles and drainage strategy development
  • Familiarity with S104, S38, S278, and S185 agreements and relevant planning processes
  • Ability to manage your own workload, attend site and client meetings, and oversee technical delivery
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and design teams
  • A full UK driving licence and ability to travel to the Nottingham office
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or equivalent)
