My Client a market leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Hydrogeologist for the team in London.  

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in hydrology, environmental engineering or hydrogeology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy as a Hydrogeologist completing hydrogeological risk assessments, water resource assessments and/or groundwater modelling using Aquator.  

Candidates are required to have a keen interest in hydrogeology and water resources and a passion for innovation and data analysis. 

You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients to discuss project progress, complete fee proposals and develop new business opportunities.  

As a Hydrogeologist you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, groundwater, flood risk and water resources projects for infrastructure, renewable energy, development and quarries across the UK.  You will be supported to complete;  

Hydrogeological risk assessments

Groundwater flow analysis and quantitative assessments. 

Water resource assessments

Groundwater monitoring using company data sensing equipment. 

Data analysis of monitoring data. 

Groundwater modelling using Aquator.   

Work across teams to deliver hydrogeological, hydrological and flood risk projects, ensuring client requirements are met and environmental guidelines are adhered to.  

Fee proposals and cost estimates 

Liaise with Local Authorities and Regulatory Bodies to provide technical advice and environmental guidance.  

Mentor and support team members and check technical work when needed.  

Site visits and site walkovers.
