Senior Structural Engineer – Edinburgh | Hybrid Working

I’m currently working with a growing multidisciplinary consultancy who are looking to bring an experienced Senior Structural Engineer into their team. With around 200 employees across the UK, the business works across a wide range of sectors and prides itself on a collaborative, people-first culture.

🔹 The Role:

• Structural and civil engineering design across buildings, bridges, foundations and industrial structures
• Structural inspection, assessment, refurbishment and design
• Site visits, asset inspections and construction support
• Design risk management and health & safety
• Produce calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation
• Mentor and support junior engineers
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders

🔹 What They're Looking For:

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Strong experience within an engineering consultancy
• Proven structural design and assessment experience
• Experience with reinforced concrete, steel and other materials
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and loading
• Experience with structural inspection, refurbishment and assessment
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Working towards or recently achieved professional qualification with IStructE or ICE

Temporary works experience and mentoring experience would be advantageous.
