We're looking for a Mortgage Customer Service Advisor to join a specialist team supporting mortgage advisers across a growing network.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service or administration experience who is interested in building a career within mortgages and financial services.

You don't need previous mortgage experience or CeMAP. Full training will be provided, with CeMAP study support available as you develop.

You'll be supporting mortgage advisers with queries around products, lenders, processes and systems, helping them find the information they need and providing a high level of service.

This is a non-sales role.

The Role

• Provide first-line support to mortgage advisers across the network
• Respond to queries around mortgage products, lenders, criteria and processes
• Help advisers navigate mortgage research and quotation systems
• Provide accurate information and practical support to help advisers progress applications
• Handle queries confidently and professionally, keeping a strong focus on customer outcomes
• Build strong working relationships with mortgage advisers and internal teams
• Keep up to date with changes across the mortgage market and lender criteria
• Maintain accurate records and ensure queries are followed through to resolution
• Share feedback and ideas to help improve processes and the service provided

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in customer service, administration or a similar role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• The ability to learn technical information and apply it confidently
• Good attention to detail
• A genuine interest in developing a career within mortgages and financial services

Previous mortgage, banking, financial services or property experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Training & Qualifications

The business will provide full training and support towards CeMAP as you develop within the role.

You'll have the opportunity to build your technical mortgage knowledge while gaining hands-on experience working closely with experienced mortgage advisers.
