AMB Recruitment are working with a well-established fit-out contractor who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team, based from their Widnes office. This is a proper fast-track fit-out environment, so you’ll need a proven track record in fit-out. 

The Role

You’ll be managing the commercial side of fit-out projects from start to finish, working closely with the directors, contracts team and site teams.

Typical duties include:

• Subcontract procurement, package comparisons and placing orders
• Valuations, variations/changes, cost control and reporting (CVRs)
• Client applications / invoicing and managing payments
• Final accounts and commercial close-out
• Supporting project delivery on a fast-moving programme (shopfitting/office/retail style fit-out works)

What they’re looking for

• Fit-out experience is essential (fast-track / interiors / CAT A & B / shopfitting / retail / workplace fit-out) 
• Confident running your own packages / projects commercially
• Solid subcontractor management and variation control
• Comfortable working from an office base in Widnes with site visits as needed

Package

• Up to £55,000 salary + £5,000 car allowance
