Senior Architect – Telford 
Up to £50,000

Aztrum is pleased to be supporting a long-established and forward-thinking architectural and planning consultancy, in their search for a Senior Architect to join their specialist team in Telford. 

With over 35 years of experience, my client has developed a strong reputation as a trusted partner to a wide range of clients across the UK. The practice is widely recognised for its expertise in delivering innovative and people-focused design solutions, particularly within the supported living, healthcare, and care accommodation sectors. Their approach combines creativity with commercial awareness, resulting in sustainable and practical projects that make a meaningful impact.

As a Senior Architect, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading projects from concept through to completion, while also mentoring junior colleagues and engaging closely with clients to maintain the highest standards of design quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architect role: 

• Lead the design and delivery of supported living, healthcare, and care accommodation projects across the UK
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining exceptional design quality throughout
• Provide leadership and mentorship to architectural staff, supporting professional development within the practice
• Ensure adherence to planning, building regulations, and sector-specific standards

Requirements for this Senior Architect role: 

• ARB registered with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Demonstrable experience within the supported living, healthcare, or care accommodation sectors
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and inclusive design principles
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
