Who They’re Looking For

The team is seeking a qualified Town Planner to join its growing office in Rugby. Applicants should ideally have a minimum of three years’ professional experience in the public or private sector and hold a relevant degree in town planning or a related subject.

Strong knowledge of the planning system, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. The ideal candidate will be motivated, client-focused, and eager to contribute to a variety of projects of different scales and types.

The ideal Senior Planner:

As a Senior Planner, the successful candidate will work under senior supervision while leading smaller projects as experience allows. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional planning advice to clients
  • Preparing high-quality planning reports and submissions
  • Coordinating technical consultants within project teams
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing engagement with local planning authorities and stakeholders
  • Representing clients’ interests throughout the planning process

Hybrid working is available, with an expectation of in-office collaboration on core days and flexibility to work independently from home on others.
