Senior Quantity Surveyor – Progression to Commercial Manager
£65,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance (flexible for the right person)

Are you a Quantity Surveyor who actually wants a career, not just another job?
This growing civil engineering contractor is looking for the right person to join their commercial team, someone who’s ambitious, grounded, and excited by the idea of becoming part of a business that’s going places.

You’ll start as a Senior QS, but the plan is clear: develop into a Commercial Manager and, for the right person, there’s genuine scope to progress towards a Director position in the future. They’re investing, expanding, and want someone who wants to grow with them.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing costs across multiple civils projects
• Take-offs, CVRs, forecasting and reporting
• Handling first bids from principal contractors
• Working closely with operations to protect margin and drive project performance
• Being a key part of the commercial voice of the business

What they’re looking for:

• Civils experience (even if not extensive)
• A switched-on QS who wants growth, responsibility and long-term progression
• Not someone chasing money, someone who wants to be part of the company’s journey
• A good communicator who works well with site teams and clients
