Pay: £14.46 per hour (Permanent Position)
Hours: Mon–Thu, 07:00–17:00 (Fridays off)
Overtime: Time‑and‑a‑half after 38 hours (as required)
Benefits: 258.5 hours holiday (incl. stats & company shutdown), pension, on‑site parking
Location: On‑site in a modern fabrication workshop

The Opportunity
Join a well‑established engineering & fabrication business as a Profile Burner / Lumsden Grinder. You’ll set up and operate heavy plate processing machinery to tight tolerances, supporting just‑in‑time delivery to a busy workshop.

What you’ll do

• Operate Profile Burning machinery and Lumsden Grinding equipment to specification
• Prepare and dress materials ready for delivery/next operations
• Work from engineering drawings and cutting lists to achieve right‑first‑time quality
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and well‑organised shopfloor

What you’ll need

• Competence on either Profile Burning or Lumsden Grinding (training available on the other)
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and create/understand cutting lists
• Strong H&S mindset and a proactive approach to quality
