Heyllo! are pleased to be recruiting for Aldersyde Day Nursery, based in Hartlepool Aldersyde was established over 30 years ago. This private day nursery is looking to take on Nursery Nurses to  join their dedicated team who provide exceptional day care. They provide a wide range of experiences to support children’s development and inspire their learning.

As the Early Years Practitioner, you are to maintain the highest standards when providing care and implementing safeguarding practices and following all nursery policies and procedures that have been set in place to ensure the best practice. 

You are to understand the EYFS and SEND standards and promote them in your everyday work life. 

Being responsible for health, safety, security and most importantly wellbeing of the children will be a big part of the role and you must understand the importance to do so. 

You must: 

• Have good time management and know how to multitask 
• Understand health and safety regulations 
• Be observant and keep records 
• Help children with their educational and social development 
• Undertake duties as directed by teaching staff or head of rooms.

Requirements:

• Have a Level 2 or 3 qualification 
• Previous experience of the following: Childcare or Nursery Experience, Play worker, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Teacher or Early Years Educator.  
• You will be DBS Checked for this role.

Hours: 

Part Time 20 hours per week

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 (some flexibility is required)
