Key Responsibilities:

    1.    Jira Configuration & Management:

    •    Manage Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian tools.

    •    Create and maintain workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, and permissions.

    •    Manage system dashboards, filters, boards, and project templates.

    •    Install, configure, and manage Jira plugins and add-ons.

    2.    User & Access Management:

    •    Manage user roles, permissions, and group settings to ensure secure access.

    •    Assist in onboarding new users and provide training where necessary.

    3.    Integration & Automation:

    •    Integrate Jira with other tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, or CI/CD pipelines.

    •    Design and implement automation rules using Jira Automation and ScriptRunner.

    4.    Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution:

    •    Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

    •    Ensure high availability, including updates and patching.

    •    Coordinate with Atlassian support for advanced troubleshooting.

    5.    Reporting & Analytics:

    •    Generate reports on sprint progress, SLAs, and key performance metrics.

    •    Assist teams with creating custom dashboards and advanced filters.

    6.    Process Improvements & Governance:

    •    Partner with teams to understand requirements and streamline workflows.

    •    Establish best practices and governance for Jira usage.

    •    Maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

    •    4+ years of experience administering Jira and Atlassian tools.

    •    Strong understanding of Agile and ITSM frameworks.

    •    Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript).

    •    Experience with API integrations and webhooks.

    •    Knowledge of SQL for querying Jira database (optional but preferred).

    •    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
