Are you a Junior Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant with around 12 months of bookkeeping or general practice experience, looking to join a growing accountancy practice based in Kilkenny where you can continue with your bookkeeping learning and development?

Are you also looking to finish your ATI and then Accountancy studies? Are you keen to gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a wide variety of sectors? If so, this growing accountancy firm is looking to recruit a new Junior Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant into their growing team. Your role will be varied and will include being trained so that you can carry out general bookkeeping duties, sales ledger and purchase ledger work, processing invoices, making payments for clients, bank reconciliations, and preparing VAT returns. You will also be responsible for ad hoc projects, including various reports, analyses and business management assignments for a wide range of interesting and high-profile clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a medium size and well-established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future, including being trained so you can start to prepare statutory accounts and tax returns for clients in the future.

To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be studying the ATI or Accountancy exams and have at least 12 months of bookkeeping experience in an accountancy practice firm. You must also live within easy commuting distance of Kilkenny. You must also have experience of Surf Online accounting software (i.e. cloud based bookkeeping software). You must be confident, professional, a team player and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must be looking to upgrade to a mid-tier practice where you can continue with your bookkeeping and accountancy career.
