Aztrum is delighted to be exclusively working with a well-established architectural practice based in Telford, who are  seeking a talented and proactive Design Architect to join their growing team. With a reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality solutions across a broad portfolio of projects across the Commercial sector, the practice is looking for an architect who thrives on creative problem-solving and strategic design thinking.

Key Responsibilities for this Design Architect role: 

• Translate client briefs into creative and practical design concepts
• Collaborate with team members to deliver projects to tight deadlines
• Undertake site visits and develop designs that respond to context
• Prepare masterplans and feasibility studies to support client decision-making
• Produce planning submissions, Design & Access Statements, and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with in-house teams to produce high-quality visualisations
• Attend stakeholder and client meetings to shape project direction
• Develop tender-stage and detailed design drawings, primarily in AutoCAD.

Requirements for this Design Architect role: 

• Qualified Architect with experience leading projects, ideally in commercial, industrial, or mixed-use sectors
• Strong AutoCAD skills with proven project delivery experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles
• Strong design awareness with attention to technical accuracy and detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts
• Receptive to feedback and committed to professional growth
• Clear written communication supported by well-presented drawings
