Senior Architectural Technician – Managing projects on site

Aztrum is pleased to be supporting a leading architectural practice in the Coventry area, highly regarded for its work across the Residential sector. My client is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to take a key role in managing projects on site and leading coordination with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

• Lead the development of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Manage projects throughout the construction phase, undertaking regular site visits to review progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design intent and building regulations.
• Take ownership of consultant coordination, working closely with structural, MEP, and specialist teams to deliver fully integrated technical solutions.
• Provide senior-level technical oversight, supporting architects and junior technicians to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency across all project stages.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, driving projects forward and ensuring smooth communication throughout the lifecycle of each scheme.

Qualifications required for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations, standards, and construction methodologies.
• Proven experience overseeing projects on site and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary consultants.
• Exceptional technical design, detailing, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous eye for accuracy.
