We are seeking a CAD Technician to join a growing civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of infrastructure and development projects within a supportive and technically strong team.
You will play a key role in supporting engineers with the production of high-quality civil engineering drawings across all project stages, from concept through to construction.
Producing detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D)
Preparing plans, sections, details, and schedules for highways, drainage, and infrastructure works
Assisting with drainage layouts, levels, and setting-out drawings
Coordinating drawings with engineers and other disciplines
Updating and revising drawings in line with design changes
Ensuring drawings comply with company standards and project requirements
Previous experience as a Civil CAD Technician or similar role
Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience advantageous)
Experience working on civil infrastructure projects (highways, drainage, utilities, or development infrastructure)
Good understanding of UK design standards and drawing conventions
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Good communication skills and a proactive approach
