We’re partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing Managed Service Provider that delivers tailored IT solutions to businesses across the UK. With expertise in managed IT support, cyber security, cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, software licensing, hardware procurement, virtualisation, networking, and professional IT services, they have built a strong reputation for technical excellence, outstanding customer service, and long-term client partnerships.

Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Leicester office and play a key role in managing and growing existing client relationships.

The Role – Account Manager (Managed IT Services)

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused Account Manager to take ownership of an established portfolio of business clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities to increase revenue across managed services, cyber security, cloud solutions, and wider IT infrastructure offerings.

You will act as the trusted advisor and main point of contact for customers, building strong, long-term relationships while working closely with internal technical teams to deliver strategic, value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of business clients
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across managed IT support, cyber security, cloud services, backup, infrastructure, and software solutions
  • Conduct regular account reviews to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and service excellence
  • Act as the primary contact for client accounts, ensuring a proactive and seamless customer experience
  • Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to provide tailored business solutions
  • Support wider business growth through strategic account development and strong commercial awareness

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Account Management within an MSP, IT services, or technology solutions environment
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud solutions, and cyber security offerings
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts strategically and effectively
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach
