EHS & Quality Manager

Overview

Discover Recruitment is working with an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced EHS & Quality Manager to oversee health, safety, environmental compliance and quality management across its operations.

This is a hands-on leadership position, working closely with production, engineering and technical teams to maintain regulatory standards, strengthen safety culture and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site-wide EHS policies, procedures and compliance activities.

  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.

  • Maintain and improve ISO 9001 quality management systems.

  • Coordinate internal, external and regulatory audits.

  • Oversee quality control activities and manage customer quality concerns.

  • Develop and deliver safety training and improvement initiatives.

  • Support and develop technical teams while promoting a proactive safety culture.

  • Monitor performance and implement corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in EHS, Quality or a combined management role within manufacturing.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of Dutch HSE regulations and industrial safety standards.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience with ISO quality management systems.

  • Experience conducting audits, managing compliance and driving continuous improvement.

  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience within process manufacturing or other regulated industrial environments is advantageous.
