About the Role

This is a practical, field-oriented role focused on sourcing parcels that meet defined technical, zoning, and accessibility requirements.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, well-connected within the local land market, and experienced in assessing land suitability while coordinating with landowners, agents, and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and scout parcels of land (minimum 3 acres) within Kilifi or Kwale Counties, ideally located within 500 meters of MV power lines (11/33 KV) and with access to LV lines.

  • Verify zoning status (industrial or convertible) and confirm that parcels are not located within flood-prone areas.

  • Assess accessibility, terrain, and overall suitability for industrial use.

  • Prepare structured land proposals including GPS coordinates, parcel size, ownership details (or owner representative), indicative pricing, and access information.

  • Support additional verification and coordination with landowners for parcels shortlisted for further review.

  • Conduct preliminary due diligence and assist in facilitating discussions or negotiations with sellers where required.

  • Provide clear and timely reporting to support internal evaluation and acquisition decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of land markets in Kilifi and Kwale Counties.

  • Previous experience in land scouting, real estate brokerage, land acquisition, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with zoning considerations, land use regulations, and environmental suitability.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills when engaging landowners and local stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage field-based tasks.

  • Reliable access to transportation for site visits and parcel verification.
