An established Chartered Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Bridgend.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected consultancy delivering innovative and practical engineering solutions across a wide range of UK projects. The business supports developments from early-stage feasibility through to construction, working closely with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of infrastructure and development projects, contributing to technically sound and cost-effective solutions.

You will gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders on a variety of schemes.

This position offers hybrid working and is suited to candidates based in or around the Bridgend area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and engineering calculations
• Support projects from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction
• Collaborate with architects, developers, contractors, and project teams
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders where required
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in infrastructure design and development projects
• Knowledge of SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) and/or SAB (Sustainable Drainage Approval Body) processes
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or similar software)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering environment
