My client a market leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their new Water Team based in Newcastle. 

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background (BSc and/or MSc) in Geography, Environmental Management, Biology or Hydrology and modules covering hydrology, flood risk and drainage engineering.      

Candidates are required to be outgoing individuals who will be happy to liaise with Clients and team members across disciplines.  

You will also be required to have excellent written communication skills to write reports.  

As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, flood risk, GIS and drainage projects for residential, commercial, educational, leisure complexes including padel courts and Cemeteries for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients across the UK.  

You will be trained and supported to complete; 

Flood risk assessments. 

GIS mapping.   

Surface water management plans

Drainage strategies

SuDS designs. 

Client networking events.  

Full training will be provided by the experienced team.  You will also be expected to attend site visits, networking events and team meetings at alternative offices in Leeds.
