Our well established Client are a privately owned company operating in the import, storage, sales and distribution of wood based panel products. 

Due to ongoing growth, the business is now looking another team member to join their business. .

Role Purpose

Processing sales orders and sales quotations for customers. Liaising with account managers, product managers and sales area groups to assist and benefit customers. 

This job description describes the main responsibilities of the role; however, it is expected that people will undertake any other duties as required commensurate with their skills and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them.
  • Understand and collaborate with existing sales structure, working with different Sale Area teams.
  • Prepare and send quotes and proposals.
  • Managing the sales process through specific software programs.
  • Participate in sales meetings.
  • Meet annual sales targets.
  • Provide excellent overall customer service.
  • Constantly work to improve processes.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships.
  • Maintain competitor awareness.

Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of methodologies, tools, and techniques for products.

  • Proficient MS Office applications skills to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective and coercive interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Is resilient, assertive, optimistic, and open to change.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Competent literacy & numeracy skills.
  • Consistently presents a professional manner in appearance, language, and behaviour.
